Attributes of a Winner – text from the coloring book:
You are a Winner
By: John Bippus
Winners don’t worry about getting it done. They just get it done.
Winners don’t dilly, they don’t dally, they do.
Winners succeed by helping others succeed.
Winners never cheat.
Winners expect to win.
Winners accept responsibility for their actions.
The Winner is always part of the answer not the problem.
The Winner always has a plan.
The Winner sees an answer for every problem, not a problem for every answer.
The Winner says, “It may be difficult, but it is possible.” The Winner never says, “It may be possible, but it is too difficult.”
When a Winner makes a mistake, he says, “I was wrong.”
A Winner makes and keeps commitments.
Winners have dreams not schemes.
Winners say, “I must do something” not “Something must be done.”
Winners are team players.
Winners see the gain not the pain.
Winners see the possibilities not the problems.
Winners think win-win.
Winners see the potential not the obstacles.
Winners are like a thermostat; when they need to “get it done, and done now” they turn up the heat.
Winners choose what they say and only say what they choose.
Winners stand firm on values but compromise on petty things.
Winners make it happen.
The Winner says, “Let me do it for you” instead of, “That’s not my job.”
You were born a Winner.
